The accident occurred around 8:53 p.m. at the intersection of Abbot Road and Lake Lansing Road. Preliminary reports suggest that a motorcycle was traveling southbound on Abbot Road, possibly at a high speed, when it collided with a motor vehicle heading northbound on the same road, which was in the process of making a left turn onto Lake Road.
